PTS Laboratories has been providing High Quality Core Analysis for over 40 years. The “high-tech” test methods and experience PTS developed for the petroleum industry are seeing new uses and applications in determining the site-specific parameters demanded by the environmental community. We have performed core analysis and geotechnical testing on sites throughout Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. PTS holds a valid Soil Import Permit from the USDA and routinely receives soil samples and core from outside the US.
PTS Laboratories is the world leader in handling and measuring unconsolidated sediments and soils and our experienced staff routinely deals with the full range of lithologies expected from today’s complex environmental sites including engineered-materials, man-made (synthetic) materials, ocean, lacustrine and fluvial sediments. Our testing program follows all applicable standards, methods and protocols of the United States and International environmental community including ASTM, EPA and API methodologies. With complete instrumentation available for core analysis, geotechnical, physical properties and hydrocarbon characterization, PTS is the one-stop laboratory for clients interested in accurately describing their site.
